I would normally not write this but Im still very angry about how they dealt with me after spending close to 600 dollars on paint from them!
They told me when I ordered two weeks before I picked up the paint that theyll mix the colour I was after until it matches the paint on the example part Ive provided (a brake caliper), and when I picked it up theyve given me a standard colour off the shelf. When I asked if I can see the colour (because the containers they gave me specified "red" instead of "orange"), theyve realised that theyve given me the wrong colour!
I then talked to another gentleman in the same shop that seemed to know more about my job. He did paint a small area on the example part (the brake caliper) Ive given them - Its not a great match to the example part Ive left there (because its not a mix as they specified and promised to do, but simply an off the shelf colour), and when I asked them why they cant mix some paint as they promised they told be "man its not how we operate here, we could lose all that paint if we cant match it".
Also, the freshly painted example part (brake caliper painted in chevy orange) was heavily damaged as theyve dropped it multiple times, and thats what made me really upset. The brake caliper was perfect, without any nicks when I gave it to them. The paint is chipped off on a lot of edges, I cant express how disappointed I am with this paint shop!
